U.S. Secretary of Defense Arrives in Bogota

The U.S. Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, arrived Monday to the Colombian capital, as part of his Latin American tour that will also take him to Brazil and Chile.

After arriving, Penetta went with his counterpart Juan Carlos Pinzon to the military base of Tolemaida, department of Cundinamarca, where they will see a show of air and ground capabilities of the Armed Forces.

After the exercise, Panetta and Pinzon will have a press conference to deliver a balance of their meeting.

Then U.S. Secretary of Defense will meet with President Juan Manuel Santos at the Presidential Palace.
