Dennis Rodman

(Prensa Latina) U.S. former basketball player Dennis Rodman, one of the NBA stars, will offer here a single exhibition game on August 8 with two other great figures of this sport, local media announced today. The winner of five NBA titles will play at the Coliseo El Salitre in Bogota, which is described by the press as an unprecedented event in the history of Colombian basketball.

The Organizing Committee did not say who will be the other athletes to play with Rodman, who is part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and played with teams such as Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers.

Rodman earned NBA All-Defensive First Team honors seven times and won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award twice. He also led the NBA in rebounds per game for a record seven consecutive years and won five NBA championships.
