Colombian authorities have confiscated a huge shipment of cocaine hidden inside thousands of crates of fake plastic limes.

The discovery was made on Thursday, when the shipment was intercepted in the Caribbean port of Cartagena, as it was being prepared for shipment to Belgium.

Colombian National Police released video of a drug agent opening one of the fake limes to reveal a parcel wrapped in clear plastic inside.

The seized drugs have an estimated value of about £38m, according to authorities.
