President of Argentina, Cristina Fernández, kicked off today a state visit to Colombia, where she was accorded military honors by her counterpart Juan Manuel Santos. The two leaders met at the end of the ceremony at Casa Narino, the government house.
According to the agenda of her visit, Fernandez and Santos are scheduled to talk about the state of bilateral relations, regional and trade-related issues.
An extradition treaty is also scheduled to be signed today.
They will also discuss cooperation in fields including river navigability, the fight against people trafficking and natural disaster mitigation, among other issues of common interest.
Fernandez arrived to Colombia last night after attending a gathering in Chaco province, Argentina.
